Every goal needs a plan of attack, and that\u2019s why Gold\u2019s Gym provides a complimentary Fitness Profile, which includes a 30-Day Personal Workout Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By creating a personal workout plan, our experts will help you find your starting point to reach those goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s literally a plan you can take with you,\u201d says Austin Johnson, an expert Gold\u2019s Gym Certified Personal Trainer. \u201cYou can wake up every morning and know exactly what kind of workout you\u2019re doing that day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe idea is to stay engaged with you in those 30 days to help you stick to working out so you\u2019ll see results,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/res.cloudinary.com\/ggus-dev\/image\/private\/s--CuosL-9b--\/c_auto,g_auto,w_1586,h_1586\/v1\/2405e908\/unknown.webp?_a=BAAAV6Bs\" alt=\"Chloe Campos\" class=\"wp-image-10863\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to design the most effective plan for each person, there are a few things we need to know.<br>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2\">What are your goals?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gold\u2019s Gym Member&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/fitgirl_felicity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chloe Campos<\/a> says she\u2019s been on a weight loss journey for as long as she can remember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEight months ago, I really dedicated myself to change my lifestyle by working out and eating healthier,\u201d she says.&nbsp;\u201cAlthough I have been successful in my own way, being able to sit down with a professional was really beneficial.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her Fitness Profile consultation, Campos shared her long-term goal with Gold\u2019s Gym Fitness Manager Vassar Louie-Bradford. But it\u2019s the steps in the 30-Day Plan that have her the most motivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSometimes, looking at an overall goal can be very overwhelming,\u201d she says.&nbsp;\u201cI\u2019m very excited to see what I can accomplish in 30 days and celebrate mini victories along the way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2\">What is your current fitness level?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even if you haven\u2019t worked out in a long time \u2014 or ever \u2014 your goals are achievable. The 30-Day Plan will help you get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe newer you are to exercise or the longer it\u2019s been since you exercised, the more time your body will need to rest and recover,\u201d Johnson says. \u201cWe\u2019re not going to throw you into five days of working out every week right off the bat.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a person at that true beginner fitness level has a goal to lose 40 or 50 pounds, their personal workout plan will be a progression to get them on track rather than one to get them to that specific target in 30 days, Johnson says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2\">What program is right for you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With all of the information gathered so far, our experts will recommend a program they think will best serve you. It may include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goldsgym.com\/personal-training\/\">personal training<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goldsgym.com\/blog\/expect-next-group-exercise-classes\/\">group exercise classes<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cVassar did a great job of asking how my daily schedule looks when I\u2019m not in the gym,\u201d Campos says. \u201cThis is super important because we were able to customize the plan to accommodate my schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not the type of person that likes to \u2018wing it\u2019 when I go to the gym. I like having a plan in place to know exactly what I\u2019m doing each day. I think it\u2019s great to have the calendar to track my progress.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you receive your personal workout plan, you will also schedule a follow-up appointment at the end of the 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"h2\">What have you learned?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At your follow-up, you and a Gold\u2019s Gym professional will review your program. You may have found you prefer certain types of workouts and want to include them more, or that you want to focus on a different short-term goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve learned that I really enjoy group settings.
